1. If it is not cold the best place to build a shelter is on high ground. The breezes will help keep the bugs away and if a search party comes by they will be able to see you. If it is cold choose a place sheltered by trees but don’t build a shelter in deep valleys because that would be where more coldness is at night.
2. The main thing your shelter would need to protect you from is mosquitoes because they are the main thing if you were in the bush that would bite you.
